Hi all,
I’m going to post the update on blog from now on as it seems that an email message is too sensitive to spam filter.
1/ 3 minutes video on “how to set up a “one time offer” in cms infusion”
2/ 5 minutes video on ” how to format content using cms infusion’s editor”
These two videos can be viewed in your members’ area at http://OutSourcingForHire.com
3/ 2 minutes video on ” how to insert Blog Rush in Wordpress”
This is John Reese’s newest idea. The concept is to get more people to see your blog and hopefully you will get more subscribers.
Step 1: Get your free Blog Rush account now
Step 2: Watch the following video on how to insert your Blog Rush Code into your Wordpress blog
4/ My own marketing promotion site testing the last 30 days :
a/ Using Google Alert
Google Alert is like a detective who never get tired, day and night/ 24/7 “he” goes around the internet and immedaitely send me an email notification about the keywords that I wanted to keep my eyes on.
It’s free and it’s a great way to keep track of what is happening now with your important keywords.
I may do a detailed tutorial on how to take advantage of this tool later when I have more time.
Get it at: http://www.google.com/alerts
b/ Submitting my own articles
OutSourcingForHire.com was a brandnew site 30 days ago.
Every 2, 3 days I worte a short article and submitted it manually to goarticles.com and ezinearticles.com
If you go to Google and type in my name Nam Tran Ybarra or OutSourcingForHire you will see Google has indexed this site very well.
Since English is my third language, and because I wanted my article to be unique, it usually takes me 2 hours from writing to editing to submitting however, persistence paid off. I highly recommend you to try out this simple but effective method.
5/ New discovery:
I did some testing on Vietnamese and Japanese language, and they showed correctly using CMS infusion’s editor.
This is an exciting news ! Imagine targeting different markets with its own language!
Wish list: If CMS Infusion’s core is accessable to be translated into other languages? This will be really cool!
6/ A search engine friendly forum? Where?
I wanted a forum that is intergrated within cms infusion so it will have the same look with the core and reduce the sign up step for user however, it doesn’t seem it will be supported anytime soon.
In the mean time, after searching and testing many applications, I’m settled with Simple Machine Forum.
I also found a hack that turns the long, ugly link into search engine friendly url.
I’m launching a new site that is based entirely on this forum platform.
7/ Limited offer for first 10 people in my A-list:
If you need to have a search engine friendly blog and forum installed it will be $50 for both works.
This include installing Wordpress and Simple Machine Forum, with Search Engine Friendly URL
With WordPress, I will also insert the BlogRush Code for you, as well as other important plugins that I myself are using with this blog.
I will need your hosting information, your ftp login. ( your host must be a Unix, Linux platform with Apache engine)
Order it at OutSourcingForHire.com’s main page
8/ Web Conference Software 4 rooms available
If your business have anything to do with webinar, live training, live support, one on one conversation or group training then you may want to check out this software and do a $1 test drive
At the moment it’s the only one that offers a lower fee comparing to other companies in the market.
I ordered a 5 rooms package, I only needed one, so if you need only 1 room then this is the perfect chance to get it for a deal you won’t find anywhere else. $45 for every 3 months.

How to set up a one time offer in CMS Infusion
Definition: An one time offer or OTO for short, is used to
offer your subscribers a special deal, usually with a huge
discount if they act NOW. If they skip it, they will not see
it again, just as the name says it all: One Time Offer.
When to use OTO? OTO page can be used when user is about to
login, immediately after login, or when they are about to
exit the page.
In CMS Infusion Membership Site Builder Software, the OTO
can be turned on and it can only be seen BEFORE LOGIN,
and only NEW USERs can see it WHEN they clicked on the email activation link.
How To Guide:
Ok, here is a step by step how to do it.
Step 1: SET UP THE DISCOUNT PRICE:
Log into your CMS Infusion Admin control panel, click on
Member Management Module.
Pick the membership that you want to do the special offer
for your subscribers. Click on it.
Look for the DISCOUNT PRICE box, enter the special price for
the one time offer.
This price should be different with the REGULAR PRICE box.
Hit SAVE, if you made any changes.
Step 2: SET UP THE ONE TIME OFFER PAGE:
Go back to CMS Infusion Admin, click on SITE DESIGN/ PAGE
Management MODULE
Select Edit Pages, then click on CHANGE SPECIAL OFFER PAGE
Design your special offer sales page by copying or typing
your OTO content into the box.
When it’s done, go back to the top of the page, click on ”
It will open a new window with a list of your membership
type and code.
Copy the code that you selected earlier, it should be a line
similar like this : ##OTO_CODE_2##
Where _2 is a number and it is changed depending on how many
membership you have.
Now COPY that code and paste it in the end of your special
offer sales page.
Next, copy and paste the ” NO Thank You code” which is
##NOTHANKS_BUTTON## right below the OTO code.
Hit SAVE.
STEP 3: TEST YOUR OTO:
You need to test the page to make sure it’s correct,
right?
So just sign up as a new user, check the activation email
and click on it, you should see your OTO page, click on it
to see if it takes you to the payment site, check the price.
Hit cancel to see what happens.
There you go, you have it.

Subject: New enquiry from Out Sourcing For Hire.com
Hi Tran
You have done a great job doing the tutorials and going over things in a
simple way. Your tutorials are small and directly to the point. I like
that.
You have indicated there was a tutorlal on changing a CMSI template - in
[particular - I want to change the header graphic. I found the folder
resources/design/mytemplate/images
I copied the l1.jpg into this folder on my site. I reset the default
template in CMSI control panel and changed it back. the new image did not
replace the orignal image. Is there something that I am missing???
Thanks for any info.
Dave
A: Hi Dave,
Try to CHMODE ( change permission ) your template folder and sub files to
777.
Let me know if it works,
Thanks,
Tran
P.S I sent you an email but just incase it didn’t go through, I also posted it here.
It may help other people as well.
Hi Dave,
In your cmsi control panel===>Template module====>Modify template===> Edit
Template====> Change Page Template===>Sroll down to the HEADER BOX
did you delete the default one ( if there is one )? And UPLOAD your new
header by clicking on the BROWSE button?
When you click on BROWSE button, it will ask you to locate the (header )
image from your local computer, and upload it DIRECTLY to your cmsi.
You don’t have to manually do that through FTP. If you do it manually, then
you just need to rename the image to match with the default one.
Let me know if it works,
Thanks,
Tran
